Q: How do you register your Cybiko to get your free MP3 player?

Q: Does the version of OS effect how many games and apps your Cybiko can hold?
A: Every time you update the CyOS, it will generally use a few KB more, however, if one person has CyOS 1.2.xx and you have CyOS 1.3.xx, you will have about 70 KB more than 1.2.
Q: I can not chat with my Cybiko.
A: If there's no one within 300 feet outdoors or 150 feet indoors, you can't chat. Try to go to the mall, sporting events, school, concerts, or anywhere there's a lot of people.
Q: How do you create your own applications, and games?
A: The Cybiko uses 3 kinds of programming. Basic, Logo, and C. Games like Tetris and Pac-Man use C. You can pick up a C programming book at your local library. Basic is much simpler, but the games cant be as complex and as good. Logo is graphics (I don't know about this much).
Q: My CyberLoad will not work. I follow the directions, and when I open CyberLoad, all my Cybiko says is "connected to PC..". The CyberLoad says that my Cybiko isn't even plugged in. Can you help me?
A: Try to reinstall CyberLoad, or E-mail Cybiko.
Q: I have entered into the Super Bike contest and when my score is entered my CyName does not appear to the side of it and instead there is just a blank. Can you tell me how to make it appear?
A: Try these 2 things:
1) Reconnect your Cybiko, and run CyberLoad v.1.16 again, then refresh the Best Score page.
2) Make sure that you have at least 3 kb of space on your Cybiko computer to store your Race Result.
Q: I'm really trying to send off for my free MP3 Player before it expires & I was wondering, is Cybiko's coupon code the same as my secret code? Because, I don't want to fill it in and it be incorrect.
A: No. Go to http://www.cybiko.com/freemp3/index.asp. Register your Cybiko there and print out the form. It will give you a Coupon Code to use. Be sure to mail off before its too late! Items most be postmarked before 1/15/01.
Q: I don't know how to download Newspaper for Cylandia, Onto The Cybiko. Can you help Me?
A: To get a newspaper, run the CyberLoad program as you run it when you want to download new games or apps. CyLandia newspaper will be loaded into the game automatically.
Q: Yeah I have a problem with my e-mail for my Cybiko. Every time I go to my CyberLoad and hook up my Cybiko and when it tells me if I received e-mail's it say I did. But when I quit CyberLoad and check my e-mail on my Cybiko it say nothing. It doesn't say I have mail. But I found out that my Cybiko address at www.cybiko.com receives them which is bobaflex@cybiko.com. So for example when someone sends an e-mail to my Cybiko address AAA3MKB@cybiko.com it goes to my cybiko.com address which is bobaflex@cybiko.com. SO how can I stop those e-mail that are coming to my address @ www.cybiko.com?
A: When you start up CyberLoad, click "Link Cybiko to mailbox" Enter your user name and password, then click "Unlink". Hopefully this should work. If it doesn't, E-mail me.
Q: My computer doesn't have the right things I need to be able to download games for a Cybiko. I have access to much faster computers, only problem is that they use the Together.net internet service. Will Together.net work if I want to download games? Also, on the site where it says: Download This Game or whatever, all it seems to be is CyberLoad, is CyberLoad the actual game?
A: Yeah, CyberLoad will work regardless of your ISP. CyberLoad is the program that you use to put the programs on your Cybiko. You check off the games you want in the left column, click download, and relax as the games go onto your Cybiko.
Q: I turn off CYBIKO, I plug CYBIKO into the computer, I turn CYBIKO on. I run CyberLoad. Nothing happens. What's wrong here?
A: You have to be connected to the internet. Otherwise try re-downloading CyberLoad, and reinstall CyberLoad. See if it works then. If that doesn't work, call 1-877-4-CYBIKO or E-mail them.
Q: CyberLoad says all the COM ports are in use, and I look at the back of the comp, and they aren't! What's up with that?
A: Find the COM port the Cybiko is connected to, start up CyberLoad, then choose that port. Quit CyberLoad, and restart it. If that doesn't work, call 1-877-4-CYBIKO or E-mail them.
Q: My batteries are crap basically and I charge them OVERNIGHT. I have had it for about 2 weeks now so they SHOULD be broken in. I take it to school with me in off mode and they are dead by advisory when they were in off mode. I wrote the company they said to download the new version. I have Windows ME and they don't have stuff ready to download for a Windows ME, they say it is under construction. What should I do???
A: Find a friend that has Windows 98 or 95. Win ME should be compatible with CyberLoad. Download the new system pack. There also might be a short in the batteries or the batteries or the batteries are just crap. Call 1-877-4-CYBIKO or E-mail them and ask for new batteries.
Q: What is the MP3 for and what does it do?
A: The MP3 player plays MP3 files on your Cybiko! When you download songs off of Napster, for example, you can transfer the songs directly onto your Cybiko, and listen to it like you would a Walkman. You then can add or delete the songs whenever you want. The only catch is that you have to supply memory for the music (it uses Smart Media cards). $200 gets you 2 hours of FM quality music, 1 hour of CD quality. $100 gets you 1 hour of FM quality music, 1/2 hour of CD quality. MP3 players are more popular because they have no moving parts, so they don't skip like a CD player would.
